The International Kyokushinkai Karate Organization was founded
in 2007. In 2008, the Organization was registered by the
Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Republic and the
Ministry of Justice. The Organization held its 1st World Cup
in 2008. In 2009, I Open World Championship was held. In the
4th World Cup organized in Istanbul, Turkey in 2012, it was
put forward the replacement of the International Kyokushinkai
Karate Organization to International Kyokushinkai Karate
Federation at the conference held with the participation of 19
countries. The decision was accepted unanimously. In December
2013, it was appealed to the Ministry of Youth and Sport of
Azerbaijan Republic and the Ministry of Justice. The organs of
government of Azerbaijan Republic considered the appeal. In
2013,the word “Organization” replaced with “Federation”. It’s
been operating as International Kyokushinkai Karate Federation
since 2013. So far this Federation unites aroundthe
federations of nearly 49 countries. At the moment, the
international Kyokushin karate Federation United 61 countries
around itself. Before that time, a Lot of Championships and
Tournaments were held. 2016 world Cup in Turkey. 2019 5 World
championship in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2020, the 6th
World Championship will be held in Turkey. The International
Kyokushinkai Karate Federation has great plans to realize in
future:
- To achieve to unite Kyokushinkai in the world.
- To lead Kyokushinkai Karate to the Olympic Movement.
