Examination
The exam for the title of the international “A” category
1. the judges must have:
-National category certificate
-Not less than black belt and 1 st Dan
-Age- 25 years old and older
-Experience in Kyokushinkai Karate min. 8 years
-Recommendations from the country representative
-Taking part in a few International Judges Seminars
2. The “A” category judges must know:
-The fight techniques in Kyokushinkai Karate
-Fluent spelling of the judge terms in Japanese
-All allowed and forbidden modes
-Right and fast define the situation
-tatami sizes
-Moving with the flags
-Entrance and exit from the tatami
3. The judge must pass the course of:
first medical help
psychology
anatomy
4. Judges must show practically:
-Free judgment
-Using whistle and flags
-First medical help
5. the judge must be in his (her) decision:
-exact
-justified
-unselfish
-make decision fast
6. The International Category Judges can be disqualified in the
following cases:
-Not enough knowledge in tours, championships.
-Passing over his (her) rights
-wrong judgment of the sportsman
7. Disqualification can be for:
-1 year
-2 years
-3 years
-depriving of the judge rights
The exam for the title of the international “B” category
1. The judges must have:
-National “A” category certificate
-Not less than black belt and 2 nd Dan
-Age- 28 years old and older -Experience in Kyokushinkai Karate
min. 10 years
-Recommendations from the region Judges Collogue chairman
-Taking part in a few International and Regional Judges Seminars
-Passed the written test from IKKO
2. The “B” category judges must know:
-The fight techniques in Kyokushinkai Karate
-Fluent spelling of the judge terms in Japanese
-All allowed and forbidden modes
-Right and fast define the situation
-tatami sizes
-Moving with the flags
-Entrance and exit from the tatami
3. The judge must pass the course of:

psychology
anatomy
4. Judges must show practically:

The exam for the title of the international “C” category
1. the judges must have:
-International “B” category certificate
-Not less than black belt and 3 rd Dan
-Age- 33 years old and older
-Experience in Kyokushinkai Karate min. 15 years
-Applying of the regional organizations to the Judge Colleague of
IKKO
-Taking part in regional, world tours and championships
-passed the written test from Kancho
2. The “C” category judges must know:
-an excellent fight techniques in Kyokushinkai Karate
-Fluent spelling of the judge terms in Japanese
-All allowed and forbidden modes
-Right and fast define the situation
-Observe the judgment ethicist
3. The judge must pass the course of:
first medical help
psychology
anatomy
4. Judges must show practically:
-Free judgment
-Using whistle and flags
-First medical help

5. The International Category Judges can be disqualified in the

The International Katam category judge must have:
International “A”, “B”, “C” category certificate
Not less than black belt the 3 rd Dan
33 years old and older
Min.15 years experience in Kyokushinkai Karate
having a paper from the International Judges Colleague about
passing the test on Katas
Taking part in Katas Regional tours and championships
The Judges of International Category must know:
-excellent knowledge of all Katas in Kyokushinkai Karate
-Encode any movement in Kata
-knowledge of basic techniques at the highest level
-Estimate the technique right
The International Category Judges can be disqualified in the
following cases:
-Not enough knowledge in tours, championships.
-Passing over his (her) rights
-wrong judgment of the sportsman
Disqualification can be for:
-1 year
-2 years
-3 years
-depriving of the judge rights
The title of Honored Judge of the International category is given
to judges:
having not less than 25 years experience in Kyokushinkai Karate
Not having a rude mistake in his (her) judgment
Judged tens of International, Regional Tours and min. 3-4 times
Championships, Tours and Cups of the World
Passed exams of the International category “A”, “B”, “C” at the
highest level
45 years old and older
Having recommendations for the title “Honored Judge of the
International category” personally from Kancho
having not less than 5 th Dan (Shihan)
having an input into the IKKO development
